The Organs and History of Trinity Church Pottsville, Pennsylvania
By Howard Mitchell
Liturgy and Worship Committee
Senior Warden, 2009

The history of the organs of Trinity Episcopal Church is inextricably linked to the history of the church itself - both its physical and its spiritual growth.  Music has been an intrinsic part of worship at Trinity since the first church building was raised in 1827 and a history of the organs would not be complete without including the architectural growth of the church as well.

Howard Mitchell, Senior Warden, 2009, has prepared such a history and we present it here in three parts:

Part I    "The Earliest Notes"

Part II    "'To Help Us See God'"

Part III     "Glory to God"
